Don’t we better understand that “massage”, which has been applied for thousands of years when research shows us the properties of reducing stress hormones, soothing depression, strengthening the immune system and relieving pain, is not just a simple folk tradition? In the meantime, do not assume that the most effective massage is done by expert therapists, I think the most effective massage is a loved one, family member, friend or even made by yourself that touches you with compassion and good faith.
Although massage always comes to mind, relaxing and relaxing massages come to mind, there are also massages made with the effect of revitalization and rejuvenation within the massage systems. acupressure
I cannot pass without mentioning acupressure. Acupressure can also be called the needle-free version of Acupuncture, which is the basis of Chinese medicine. Finger pressures on acupuncture points form the basis of acupressure. Chinese Medicine, which I learned in a significant part of my aromatherapy training in London, balances its philosophy with energy channels (meridians) on the human body, gold and silver needles, herbs, herbal mixtures and other methods, as well as with the acupressure when I learned acupuncture and shiatsu. I met. Acupressure points are our meridian points. It is a method with a wide range of effects from pain relief, fatigue, excessive bleeding to acne. Acupressure application for pain problems is the most common.
By using acupressure points, you can get rid of your pain. The method is simple, it causes muscle spasm and tension due to extreme fatigue, traumas, stress, chemical imbalances and poor circulation. Pressing the middle point of your ribs, 2 points under your navel hole, 2 points under your fingers, and the stomach meridian points on the right and left outer sides of your knee cap will increase your energy.

Hand Reflexology
I also included reflexology in the massage department. Reflexology is very useful, which you can easily apply to your child on your own. It is assumed that the pressure to be applied to a certain point will remove the energy blocks and have a stimulating or relaxing effect. Reflexology, which has been applied for thousands of years with the principle that our energy channels and organs, which we call meridians in Chinese medicine, are under our feet and hands, is one of the best practices for energy balancing. Simple logic is to press on the points you want to relax with your fingers.
Sports Massage
Stress, insufficient fluid intake, poor posture, fatigue, excessive use lead to the adhesion of the fibers and pain in the muscles here. Sports massage relaxes your body by relaxing the stretched muscles. Regular and targeted application helps to eliminate lactic acid in muscles. In-depth strokes in this massage have a stimulating effect on body fluids, and also allow the blood to return to the heart and lungs more quickly. We may not have the time and budget to get massages, but with these simple 4 movements, we can reduce the troubles we will experience after sports and alleviate the pain and tension. You can do your massage with the formula that I prepared from the ideal oils for post-sports massage, which relieves pain and lactic acid.
Sports Massage Oil:
- 35 ml of jojoba oil
- 20 ml sweet almond oil
- 10 ml argan oil
- 20 drops of cypress (Cupresus sempervirens) essential oil
- 12 drops of juniper (Juniperus communis) essential oil
- 8 drops of cedar (Cedrus atlantica) essential oil

Trigger Point Massage

The trigger points, which are sometimes silent and sometimes with a constant pain, are contraction knots in muscle tissue, which are manifested by chronic pain problems. Trigger points can develop anywhere in the 200 pairs of muscles in our body and cause discomfort. You may not even suspect that you may have silent trigger points, but it is very easy to detect them. They are very painful when pressed. These silent trigger points can be activated even with the slightest stress or strain. The trigger points hurt when pressed, always located in the midpoint of the muscle fibers. The most severe painful areas are located on or near where the muscles attach to the bones. In chronic conditions, where the pain of the trigger points lasts for months and years, tension in the muscles’ attachment to the bones can even cause disruption in the joint. Trigger points can seriously affect our health; Your complaints, such as symptoms of dysfunction, muscle stiffness, weakness, edema, nausea, dizziness, posture disorders, may be related to treacherous trigger points. As an aromatherapist, the method that I have used in many patients who complain about trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage is the easiest method.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage, which is effective in resolving chronic muscle pain and contractions, which I mentioned above, is a technique to improve muscle and connective tissue by applying pressure to deeper levels. Hard pressure is applied deeper and directly over the muscles compared to other types of massage and pressure is maintained for a longer time. Before the session, painful and contracted muscles and movement restrictions based on these muscles are carefully evaluated. I usually blend deep tissue pressure, acupressure, trigger point and muscle stretching techniques according to the patient’s condition in practice. I increase the effect of massage with aromatherapy oils that are pain relieving and muscle relaxant. A massage that we will do with rhythmic and light pressure movements by using your aromatherapy oils that I share with you formulas, takes our fatigue, accelerates our blood circulation and makes us both dynamic and energetic.
Massage To Relieve Headaches

This mixture, which I have formulated with relaxing, calming oils, is also a wonderful product that your family should have in the medicine cabinet because of its wound and burn healing properties.
For 100 ml:
50 ml sweet almond oil
20 ml of calendula oil
20 ml cornflower oil
10 ml argan oil
60 drops of lavender essential oil
15 drops of teatree (Indian laurel) essential oil
